Our company history
Whenever we came back to Germany after vacation abroad we were quite sad, that it's impossible respectively very difficult to get certain foreign food or beverages in Germany.
There are so many delicious foodstuffs abroad, and the thought, that we'll have to abstain from all these really wasn't a nice one. Well, fortunately the internet can provide you now with goods from almost every country in the world.
So it was obvious for us, that tourists after a vacation in Germany might also feel the need to get German products when they're back home.
In summer 2008, after a vacation in UK, we decided to found german-supermarket24.com.
We are located near Nuremberg / Bavaria, so we can offer everything you can get in a regular German supermarket.
Our goal is to provide everybody who likes the German Way of Life with German quality products, no matter where you live.
In general, we ship worldwide, with the following reservations:
- It's forbidden to send foodstuff to Iran and Isle of Man;
- Shipments if foodstuff to Ukraine may not exceed 10kg of weight;
- There are import prohibitions in some countries for certain items, for example alcohol or meat products;
- For shipment of coffee, tea or alcohol within European Union we need a written promise of the customer, that he or she will pay for possible custom duties or taxes. Please send your statement by letter or by E-Mail to service@german-supermarket24.com.
Please make sure before ordering, in what way there are such import restrictions respectively prohibitions for your country. Please check the content of your basket for possibly problematic articles. We cannot assume liability.
